Donovan rock block continues, thinking of working up an even creepier rendition of 'Hi it's been a long time' to scare the ladies with. IMing with fellow sysadmin trapped at work migrating production server since last midnight, he's schizing out a bit as you might imagine. He's just gone to have a cigarette, send us all presents, you like using the Internet, right?

What I like about this blog is how you destroy my illusions of the significance of work, art, &c, replacing them with the sublimity of the mundane adventures of Peretz. It's all very grounding, very Zen. I wonder what will happen to me if I keep reading. Will I end up a monk, quitting my job and sitting on the sidewalk with a begging bowl?
There's nothing mundane about the adventures of Peretz. You do, however, raise a good point, maybe I should start holding retreats, Western Mass. could be the next Marin, know any wealthy divorcees?
