Just finished celebrating the arrival of our first significant snowfall with a cheerful viewing of Quintet.

Yesterday, a pleasant xmas complete with low key gift exchange, bourbon molasses pecan pie, spicy pork tenderloin &, for me, anyway, a very early bedtime. That equalled me waking embarrassingly early & a trip to the predictably ugly scene at the postholiday presnowtorm megagrocery for butter & eggs.
